We are a small, independently-owned, online-only Freelance & Creative Arts Publishing Company that has been in business as an LLC since 2015 (unofficially since 2009), having taken a brief hiatus in 2018 into 2020. The name, Puffy Cloud Creations, originated from the sound of children playing, a dog barking, and an ice cream truck ringing on a hot ac-free summer’s afternoon during a sunny day of cloud watching on Long Island. The logo was drawn to capture the imagery and likeness of childhood….and the magic that exists there in childhood.

Our company may be pretty young but we’re well-educated, passionate, experienced and very good at what we do. Our mission is to provide high-quality freelance work, as well as high-quality published products that satisfy our clientele and also inspire, educate, and entertain readers of all ages.  As writers and graphic designers ourselves, we also write, illustrate and publish our own works with our publishing label.

Please note: As a company, under our First Amendment right of the US Constitution, an amendment we all share, we reserve the right to reject any writing that we deem offensive to our morals and/or Roman Catholic religious beliefs. If it offends you that we take this stance, you have the right to shop elsewhere. That being said, we do not consider any Sacreligious, Sexually Explicit or Horror writing. Some select tasteful Gothic Fiction, Dark Fantasy & Psychological Thrillers will be considered, [think, The Shining, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Tell-Tale Heart, etc], we don’t discourage anyone from submitting these genres but please be forewarned that they are not in our typical wheelhouse so we don’t accept them as often.

With that being said, what type of writing are we accepting? We are always accepting the following: Chic Lit, Children’s Literature, Christian Fiction, Fables, Fairytales, Fantasy (PG-13), Fiction in Verse, General Fiction, Historical Fiction, Mystery, Mythology, Nonfiction, Poetry, Romance (Harlequin-style), Sci-Fi, Scripts/Screenplays, Short Stories, Westerns & Young Adult Fiction.
